Gizchina News of the week
It’s good to see that Xiaomi is bringing some of its products to the global markets. After all, the company’s variety of products has been limited to India and China. The company has been increasing its presence in Europe, and we should see more products coming to these regions very soon. The crescent demand for smart products probably shapes the perfect opportunity for Xiaomi to expand its portfolio in certain markets.
Xiaomi may become a very strong contender in Europe
The new range of products come in perfect time. After all, Xiaomi has just surpassed Samsung to became the market leader in Russia. We can see that some markets are starting to reflect Huawei’s post-ban effects. Xiaomi’s fellow company was about to overcome Samsung and other companies to become one of the strongest players in Europe. However, the US ban has frustrated Huawei plans which saw its market share shrinking across global markets.
In Europe, Xiaomi focuses on release cheap and affordable devices to the market. This strategy worked well in markets including India. The company has been betting on the POCO brand and Redmi names across Europe. POCO has been an important player in the market due to the availability of flagship-like smartphones at the price of mid-range smartphones.
When it comes to smartphones, the company is preparing a new batch of flagships for this quarter. Among them, we have the highly-anticipated Mi MIX 4.
