Realme X9 Pro appears on MIIT, Realme X9 clears TENAA certification

Besides the Realme numbered smartphones, the company also has the X-series among its biggest hits. The last entries in the lineup, the Relame X7, and Realme X7 Pro were released nearly a year ago. Of course, you can consider the Realme X7 Max but it is just a rebranded Realme GT Neo. For those who need a new X-series smartphone, Realme seems to be prepping up for the release of its Realme X9 series. We have been seeing rumors about this Realme X9 series since the beginning of the year. However, for the first time, we’re seeing consistent proof of the device’s arrival.

The Realme X9 Pro passed by the MIIT with RMX3381 model number. The device appears a few weeks after the vanilla smartphone was spotted on TENAA certification with RMX3361. Interestingly, some were pointing to the RMX3366 as the Realme X9 Pro, however, this particular device turned to be the Realme GT Master Edition.

Gizchina News of the week

Realme X9 Pro and X9 key specifications

According to the certification, Realme X9 Pro will pack a 6.5-inch display which is bigger than its predecessor. The device measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.8 mm and will draw its powers from a 4,880 mAh battery. We assume that this is the rated capacity and the device will have a 5,000 mAh typical capacity. The vanilla is getting 65 W fast-charging, so we assume this will also be the case for the Pro model.

Worth noting that the Realme X9 Pro is a dual-SIM 5G smartphone and runs Android 11 straight out of the box. We assume that this means that Realme UI 2.0 will be on top. Unfortunately, MIIT does not bring any image with the smartphone.

TENAA, on the other hand, did update the Realme X9 listing with images and specs. The vanilla handset has a 20:9 AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The device packs a 32 MP selfie snapper and a triple-camera setup at the back.

It packs a 64 MP primary camera, an 8 MP secondary, probably ultrawide, and a 2 MP sensor that probably stands for macro shots. The device will come in variants with 6 GB, 8 GB, and even 12 GB of RAM. Storage will be 128 GB and 256 GB, worth noting that this handset does not has a microSD card slot. It will be available in White, Blue and Gray.

We can expect these smartphones to be revealed in the next few months.
