Xiaomi AIoT Launch Event: 27″ 156Hz gaming monitor, a WiFi 6 router, a scooter and an air fryer!

Xiaomi AIoT

Earlier today, Xiaomi expanded its “AIoT” portfolio by launching a bunch of new products in Europe. The smartphone maker already has a massive portfolio. In fact, “massive” would be an understatement at this point. Well, the company has now brought new products. The list includes a new gaming monitor, a WiFi 6 router, a new scooter, and an air fryer. Without any further ado, let’s see what the company has in stores for us.

Xiaomi Mi 2K Gaming Monitor

  • 156Hz refresh rate

The first most product that we have on the Xiaomi AIoT product list is a brand new gaming monitor. Xiaomi has revealed a new monitor with a screen size of 27-inch. The product has an IPS panel having a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 along with 178-degree viewing angles. We’re also looking at 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Since it’s a gaming monitor, the company decided to go with a 156Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync. The response time is a bit on the higher side i.e. 4 ms. Although you can reduce it to 1ms using the Intelligent Motion Blur Control feature, we don’t know if it actually works or is just a gimmick.

Coming to the ports, there’s a 2.5 Gbps WAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, and a single USB-A 3.0 port. The router has a Qualcomm chipset manufactured over 14nm fabrication process. There are two NPU cores as well. The chip is paired with up to 1GB of RAM. There’s a built-in cooling fan to make sure the router doesn’t heat up.
