The chip will be Kirin 9000, but later the smartphone will “switch” to Snapdragon 888 without a 5G modem.
The Huawei P50 Pro will offer an OLED display with an increased hertz pattern, up to 12GB of RAM; and up to 512GB of constant storage, 66W fast charging and a proprietary HarmonyOS operating system.

Huawei will present smartphones of the P50 series before the end of July
Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, according to network sources, has scheduled a presentation for July 29. On that day, the flagship smartphones of the P50 series are expected to be unveiled.
The family, according to rumors, will include three models. This is the basic version – the Huawei P50, the more efficient variant – Huawei P50 Pro; and the most expensive version – Huawei P50 Pro Plus.
Initially, we assume that the devices will be based on the proprietary Kirin 9000 processor. However, due to sanctions from the United States, Huawei’s plans may change. In particular, according to network sources, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chip may be involved. It contains eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 3 GHz, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator; and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with data transfer rates up to 7.5 Gbps.
Smartphones Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro Plus are credited with having a display measuring 6.1, 6.6 and 6.8 inches diagonally, respectively. The battery capacity will be 4000, 4200 and 4500 mAh.
The devices will arrive with the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system out of the box.
