Motorola Edge 20 Pro has appeared on the web in the form of new press renders that reveal its awe-inspiring design. Key specifications of the much-awaited phone from Motorola were leaked in its Geekbench listing earlier this week. Now, new press renders have given us a glimpse of the upcoming device’s outward appearance.
The company is gearing up to launch three devices that have already made multiple appearances on the web. On Monday, Motorola confirmed that it will be a launch event that will be held in China on August 5. The phone maker will be launching its much-awaited Edge 20 lineup of phones during the aforesaid event. The upcoming event could see the Edge 20, and its Pro variant launch.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro Press Renders
As mentioned earlier, the event will be held next month. However, a series of Edge 20 Pro’s official-looking renders have been spotted on social media courtesy of noted leaker, Evan Blass. According to the leaked render, the Edge 20 Pro will not retain the curved edge screen like its predecessors, the Edge and Edge+ series of phones from 2020. Instead, it comes with an OLED panel that has a punch-hole in the center, along with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The left side houses a button that GSM Arena suggests might be used to summon the Google Assistant. The rear-mounted camera module shows a square-shaped camera placed at the top alongside an LED flash and a couple of lenses. The text seen on the camera setup suggests that it houses a 108MP primary camera. Furthermore, the device will reportedly go up for sale in white, black, and blue color options.
Specifications
The Edge 20 Pro sports a mammoth 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display with high FHD+ screen resolution. There’s a Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood, paired with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM. A 4,500mAh battery will keep the phone powered. The phone will be available in various storage configurations including 256GB, and 128GB. Upfront, it has a 32MP selfie camera.
Aside from the aforementioned 108MP main camera, a 16MP wide-angle camera that serves as a macro shooter, an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom capabilities. Other notable features include a display output and a mono speaker.
