Motorola Edge 20 series is set to release next month, but the lineup continues to make appearances on the web in the form of leaks. A new leak has divulged key details about the upcoming lineup that will comprise premium mid to mid-range phones.
A previously surfaced render showed the vanilla variant in full glory. Now, the Lite and Pro models also surfaced online. The leaks give us a glimpse of the Lite and Pro models’ colorways, outward appearances, and more. The Motorola Edge 20 series succeed the company’s well-received Edge series from 2020. TechnikNews teamed up with Adam Conway of XDA Developers to reveal all details and renders.
Motorola Edge 20 Lite
The Motorola Edge 20 Lite will be the most affordable device in the Edge 20 series. It will be powered by a Dimensity 720 5G. The octa-core processor is accompanied by a highly competent Mali-G57 GPU. It sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There are three rear-mounted cameras including a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP camera for depth information.
Upfront, the phone houses a 32MP front shooter. In terms of memory configuration, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable (via microSD card) onboard storage. For connectivity, it has a 3.5 mm jack connection, WLAN 5, and Bluetooth 5. The phone’s 5000 mAh battery supports 30W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 OS.

Motorola Edge 20
The Edge 20 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G CPU. It is a middle model of the lineup with a 6.7-inch display that offers Full HD+ resolution. Morever, a source suggests that it will offer a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable internal storage capacity. The camera setup is almost similar to the Edge 20 Lite. However, the ultra-wide-angle camera is 16MP.
In terms of connectivity, the phone offers NFC, WLAN 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. It is backed by a relatively smaller 4000mAh battery that can be charged with 30W. The Edge 20 is likely to set you back 499 € (about $590) and will come in Frosted White and Frosted Gray color options.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro
The Pro variant of the Motorola Edge 20 series is the flagship phone. It understandably packs a powerful Snapdragon 870, which is touted as the second-best processor from Qualcomm. On the downside, the phone is only available in 12GB RAM+256GB ROM configuration. The Edge 20 Pro sports a mammoth 6.7-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.
In the optics department, the phone has a similar camera module as the Edge 20. However, it draws juices from a larger 4500mAh battery that supports 30W charging. The phone will probably retail for 699 euro (about $828) and will go up for sale in Blue Vegan Leather, and Midnight Blue color options.
