Huawei and Apple’s flagships used to have fierce competition in the market, especially in China. However, with Huawei’s situation in recent years, the company is not even trying to compete in the market. Huawei’s officials have since confirmed that the company is only trying to survive. Today, Huawei officially released its latest flagship series, the Huawei P50 series.

According to Yu Chengdong, the Huawei P series has gone through 10 years of development. He also said that generation is a subtle combination of technological aesthetics and smart photography. The Huawei P series also brings leading innovation and progress of smartphone photography technology.

This time Huawei P50 uses a flexible flat OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. However, the Huawei P50 Pro uses a flexible curved OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Not only that, the Huawei P50 series has a thin and light design while having a large screen and large-capacity battery.

Yu Chengdong showed the comparison between the Huawei P50 series and the iPhone 12 series. The comparison image shows the Huawei P50 6.5 inch screen and a battery of 4100 mAh. The Huawei P50 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch display and a 4360 mAh battery. In terms of weight, Huawei P50 weighs only 181g, while the Huawei P50 Pro weighs only 195g.

Obviously, whether it is screen size, battery capacity, or weight, the Huawei P50 series surpasses the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, it is important to note that there is more to smartphones than screen size, battery capacity of weight. See the full specs of the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro below
