POCO will not launch its recently unveiled POCO X3 GT in India, much to the chagrin of the brand’s huge fanbase in the country. Loyal fans of POCO have been waiting with bated breath to get their hands on the new device from the smartphone company. While the device was recently launched in Malaysia, it will not see the light of day in India.
Earlier this week, POCO announced the X3 GT globally. The phone has been launched as a rebranded Note 10 Pro 5G from Redmi. It has already gone up for sale in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. As expected, Indian POCO fans were restlessly waiting for the phone’s launch in the country. However, they were in for a big disappointment.
POCO X3 GT Will Not Launch In India
Taking to his Twitter account on July 28, POCO India, Country Director Anuj Sharma shared an update on the device’s launch in India. According to Sharma, the brand does not want to launch the POCO X3 GT in India because it offers POCO F3 GT and the POCO X3 Pro in the country. Bringing the X3 GT into the Indian market will confuse its target audience, he explained.
So while we do have big plans for the future, the Poco X3 GT is not part of them.
Right now, as a team, we want to avoid any confusion in the portfolio for our consumers. Unlike… 😉

Gizchina News of the week
POCO has “big plans for the future.” Regrettably, the POCO X3 GT is not included in their plans, Sharma wrote. With that out of the way, it is worth noting that the phone was launched in the Indian market as the POCO F3 GT, but it doesn’t have a lot of power. Sharma pointed out that both the Poco X3 Pro and the F3 GT offer a good value at the respective price tags they carry.
