Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 variant has passed through the TENAA certification site, and the listing has divulged some key details about the phone. The Chinese smartphone maker is gearing up to unveil the MIU 13 and some new hardware products during a launch event next month.
If reports making the rounds online are anything to go by, Xiaomi will be launching its much-awaited Mi Mix 4 smartphone at the aforesaid launch event. The Mix 4 was previously speculated to be launched as the company’s new foldable phone. The latest reports, on the other hand, claim that the device will focus more on offering a superior viewing experience by adopting the under-display camera technology.

If earlier reports prove to be true, Xiaomi will be launching the Mi Mix 4 in August this year. While nothing is set in stone yet, important pieces of information about the device have surfaced on the web. These details were leaked via Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 phone’s TENAA listing.

The updated TENAA listing features two Mi MIX 4 models. According to the listing, the Xiaomi phone with model number M2016118C will be available in two configurations. The standard model will ship with 8GB of RAM and offer 256 built-in storage. The slightly larger variant will offer 12GB of RAM with a hefty 256 onboard storage capacity. Earlier reports have hinted at a 12GB RAM+512GB ROM variant, which is not listed on TENAA.
Specifications (Expected)
The Mi MIX 4 has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. The device is likely to come with highly appealing curved edges and a 6.6-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Furthermore, it is tipped to be Xiaomi’s first-ever smartphone to house an in-display camera. The fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the display.
Aside from that, the phone could pack a Snapdragon 888, or an even faster Snapdragon 888+ processor from Qualcomm. It will also feature Micron’s LPDDR5 uMCP. The device’s 3C listing indicated that it will come with 120W wired charging support. Moreover, it is likely to offer 70W or 80W wireless charging support as well.
In the optics department, the Mi MIX 4 will house a triple camera module featuring a 50MP Samsung GN1s lens at the back. The phone could weigh about 226 grams. Xiaomi is reportedly planning to take the wraps off the Mi CC11 lineup, along with the Mi MIX 4 later this year. Xiaomi has not confirmed or denied these speculations.
