Today, Huawei officially released a new charger that will fit these smartphones. The Huawei 66W GaN (Gallium Nitride) super fast multi-port charger is official. This charger comes with a retail price of 399 yuan ($62). However, there will be a 20 yuan ($3) discount which takes the price to 379 yuan ($59).
According to reports, the Huawei 66W GaN charger comes with two USB-A interfaces and one USB Type-C interface. To avoid simultaneous use, the USB Type-C port has links to the USB Type-A port. In terms of parameters, the orange USB-A1 port supports Huawei’s proprietary super fast charge protocol. It has a maximum output power of 66W and supports 5V 3A, 10V 4A, 11V 6A multiple gears. The orange Type-C port supports a maximum output of 20V 3.25A and a power of 65W. It is compatible with multiple charging protocols such as PD3.0, PPS, SCP, and FCP. With this port, users can also charge laptops, tablets, and other devices.
The purple USB-A2 port provides 5V 2A, 5V 4A, 10V 2.25A multiple gears, and the maximum output power is 22.5W. The orange USB-A1 output interface supports 66W, and 40W Huawei Super Fast Charge.
