Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series of smartwatches will reportedly adopt highly appealing design elements, coupled with awe-inspiring features. The hotly-anticipated lineup includes the Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. Samsung is likely to unveil both wearables next month.
While the smartwatch series is not expected to hit the store shelves this month, both the Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch4 Classic have made multiple appearances in the form of leaked renders online. The Galaxy Watch4 has been subject to a myriad of official-like renders that gave us a glimpse of its design from all angles before the official launch.
Samsung Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic Images Leaked
The two wearables from Samsung have been floating around the rumor mill for a long time. As a result, some of their key details have already been revealed. While we are still a few away from their expected launch date, 91mobiles has discovered a slew of live images with the help of a trusted source who insisted on remaining anonymous.
Images of the Galaxy Watch4 Classic show a physical bezel. Furthermore, the watch appears in two color options including silver and black. The right side of the wearable features two buttons. Regrettably, the live images do not offer a thorough glimpse of the watch’s UI. We can just see the initial setup screens. For those who are unaware, Samsung is planning to combine its Tizen OS with Google Wear OS for its upcoming smartwatches including the Galaxy Watch4 series of wearables.
According to the company, the new OS will enable the smartwatches to provide enhanced performance and longer battery life as compared to their predecessors. Previously leaked exclusive renders of the Galaxy Watch4 suggest that the phone will come in two sizes including 40mm and 44mm. It will offer water-resistance of up to 5ATM and will have MIL-STD 810G durability rating.
Aside from that, the upcoming watch will carry reliable Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. In terms of connectivity, the standard Galaxy Watch4 model will support GPS. The non-Classic variant of the Galaxy Watch4 will go up for sale in multiple eye-catching color options such as rose gold, dark green, silver, and black.
Pricing & Availability
Earlier reports indicated that Samsung will launch only the Galaxy Watch4. Recent reports revealed the company’s plan to launch a Classic variant of the watch. While the regular model could be the Galaxy Watch Active 2 replacement, the Classic version could be the long-awaited Galaxy Watch 3 successor, according to XDA Developers.
Amid the lack of an official confirmation, the Galaxy Watch 4 made an appearance on Amazon Canada. The listing indicated that the 42mm variant will retail for CAD 309.85 (about $249). The 44mm Classic variant was spotted carrying a price tag of CAD 427.73 (about $350). It is worth mentioning here that the listing prices can be inaccurate. So, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
