Gizchina News of the week
Last month, tipster Yogesh Brar told 91mobiles that the RedmiBook 15 will retail for INR 50,000 (about $672). If this speculation proves to be true, the RedmiBook will compete with the likes of Asus VivoBook, Acer Swift 3, and the company’s own Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. The RedmiBook will be available in the Charcoal Grey color option.
Specifications & Features
The RedmiBook 15 could retain the design of the RedmiBook laptop models from China. It will sport a 15.6-inch display that offers a Full-HD resolution. This LCD screen will be encompassed by a super thin-bezel design. The design elements seem to draw inspiration from Apple’s MacBooks. The Redmi branding is placed below the screen. Furthermore, it will have a chiclet-style keyboard.
If previously surfaced reports and leaks are anything to go by, the Indian version of the RedmiBook 15 will feature an HD webcam. It will pack 11th generation Core i3, Core i5 processors from Intel. Aside from that, the laptop will ship with 8GB of RAM. You can choose between a 256GB PCIe SSD storage model and a 512GB of PCIe SSD storage version.
The laptop will deliver a stereo sound experience through two 2W speakers. Moreover, it will feature a battery that supports 65W fast charging and offers up to 10 hours of battery life. The laptop could come running on Windows 10 operating system. You can watch the RedmiBook product launch live stream below:
