Honor Tab V7 Pro will have support for stylus and magnetic keyboard

Several months have passed since Huawei sold off Honor to a Chinese conglomeration. After many months of teasing, the brand made its big return with the Honor 50 series unveiling. However, this was just the beginning as the company is preparing new exciting launches for this month. On August 12, the brand will introduce its Honor Magic 3 series of smartphones. Among the list of smartphones, we expect the first foldable smartphone to come under Honor branding and also a Snapdragon 888 Plus-powered device with a Penta-Camera setup and curved OLED display. In addition, the company is also preparing a new tablet dubbed Honor Tab V7 Pro. Today, we got some additional details about the new device.

According to the latest teaser, the new slate will have stylus support and will work with a magnetic cover keyboard. Although the new model will work as its predecessor in terms of stylus support, it will have a different design for the keyboard. Apparently, the new keyboard has a thick element in the middle. We assume this is a battery tucked in it. It probably will charge the tablet wirelessly or through the magnetic pins.

Honor Tab V7 Pro rumored specifications

The image also reveals a flat bottom which serves as a house for the USB-C port. The port is flanked by speaker grills which is a major design change for the Honor Tab V7 Pro when compared to the Honor V6. In terms of specifications, not much is confirmed. However, rumors have it that the new Honor Tab V7 Pro will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1300T SoC. This is basically a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip for tablets. It comes with four powerful ARM Cortex-A78 cores and four efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores. This chip is built on the 6 nm architecture from TSMC and also offers 5G connectivity which is certainly a plus.

We expect more details to be revealed ahead of the August 12 unveiling. Honor will likely keep building the hype for its upcoming products. The new tablet will probably run Android 11 straight out of the box with Honor’s skin running on top.

Honor Magic 3 flagship will also come in August 12

The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus platform, has 8 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS in tow. The device will likely appear at the August 12 unveiling which is gearing up to be one of the biggest Honor events for this year.
