Honor previously announced that the Honor Tablet V7 Pro will come on August 12 along the Magic 3 series. As the launch date is getting closer and closer, it’s quite reasonable why we are receiving many news about it recently. Today was no exception. The poster released by Honor Life discloses (or confirms) hardware that our protagonist will sport.
MediaTek Kompanio 1300T Parameters
It turns out that the Honor Tablet V7 Pro will debut the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T chip. The latter uses TSMC’s 6nm process technology, an octa-core CPU architecture, and provides a top-level performance if comparing with other MediaTek products.
The Kompanio 1300T integrates MediaTek’s AI processing unit (APU). The latter can provide powerful performance for various AI scenes such as AI voice assistant and ultra-low power voice wake-up (VoW) function.
It also supports 5G connectivity, including all 5G frequency bands below 6GHz, 2CC carrier aggregation (2CC CA), dual-SIM 5G, and 5G elevator mode and 5G HSR mode enhancements. As for other connectivity options, this processor supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 And 5G UltraSave power saving mode.
Gizchina News of the week
The MediaTek Kompanio 1300T is capable of providing further enhancements through MediaTek’s MiraVision display technology. The latter allows OEMs to filter blue light, enhance picture quality, and adjust resolution and frame rate.
In the poster, Honor said that the Tablet V7 Pro will sport a “flagship chip customized for high-end tablets.” With this, the company wants to emphasize that it is going to be a true flagship tablet regardless the MediaTek chip under the hood. We mean most of its competitors such as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 sport Snapdragon chips. So when users see a MediaTek chip, it is associated with a lower configuration product.
Other Features
Also, the company released a video that discloses some design elements as well. Say, we can see that the front camera of this tablet is located in the middle of the long side. The frame of this model is relatively narrow, and the overall screen ratio is relatively high.
According to previous leaks and official news, the Honor Tablet 7/ Pro will use a 2000*1200 resolution screen. It will also support a 90Hz refresh rate. It will yield those of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, but these are still good screen parameters.
Honor also claimed that this tablet will support various useful functions such as multi-screen collaboration similar to the Huawei Harmony OS. It will also support a stylus pen like the Mi Pad 5 again.
