Recently, Chuwi officially announced that a new laptop is on its way to getting launched – the LarkBook X. The laptop is expected to be released in mid-August. It’ll be featuring a 16:10 gold ratio 14-inch full touch screen and an all-metal lightweight design. It will also be equipped with Intel’s 2021 new low-power CPU N5100; along with support for Windows 11 system update.

Today we learn that the LarkBook X will feature a 14-inch 16:10 touch screen with a 2K ultra-clear resolution. It’ll also bring a high 100% sRGB color gamut so that it can also be used in productivity scenarios. With the display being 16:10, it’s 11% taller than the traditional 16:9aspect ratio;  which is beneficial to improve office productivity and thus making it better for office use. Additionally, the 14-inch 16:10 golden screen is a complete adaptation will bring a perfect entertainment experience with streaming video, games and entertainment scenes.

As we mentioned earlier, there’s also the big plus of the support for the upcoming Windows 11 update; an OS that is expected to bring a more advanced and better touch screen experience.

The CHUWI LarkBook X is designed to be lightweight and fashionable. The whole machine adopts aluminum-magnesium alloy fuselage. It has a side that’s just 10mm thin and weighs only 1.4kg; thus making it ultra-light and portable. The whole machine can be opened and closed at 180 degrees, it has its own backlit full-size keyboard and large trackpad.

Finally, the LarkBook X will be powered by a 2021 Intel’s new 10nm CPU. Using Intel’s 10nm process, the latest Celeron N5100 CPU only has a 6W TDP ultra-low power consumption and it can run without fan. The CPU is then powered with 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD and dual-channel support for memory expansion. The LarkBook X can easily meet the common needs of daily office use, audio-visual entertainment, 4K video nd so on.
