HP Chromebook x2 11 Launched

HP Chromebook x2 11 was launched on August 10 alongside the HP Chromebook AiO, and the detachable device offers stylus support. The recently unveiled flagship Chrome OS device seems to draw inspiration from the Asus CM3 and the Lenovo Duet in terms of outward appearance. However, the rest of the characteristics are more premium.

Earlier this year, the technology company hinted at a launch of a new slate via Flipkart. The device, which was tipped to be the HP Chromebook 11a was set to hit the store shelves in India on April 8. Now, the company has announced a couple of new Chrome OS computers targeted at its huge consumer base. This includes a Chromebase AiO and the Chromebook x2 11.

HP Chromebook x2 11 Launched With Top Specs

The Chromebook x2 11 is housed in an aluminum frame. It has an 11-inch IPS display with a high 2K resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, and a brightness of 440 nits. The screen has Gorilla Glass 4 on top for additional protection. It will come with a USI-certified Pen (stylus) and you can charge it wirelessly. You can simply attach the stylus to the right side of the device to charge it wirelessly, The Verge reported.

Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 7c processor that powers up the entire system. Aside from that, it has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, coupled with up to 12GB of eMMC storage. According to HP, the Chromebook’s 32Wh 2-cell battery offers about 11 hours and 15 minutes of battery life. It comes with a 45W charger that can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 45 minutes.

Upfront, the Chromebook x2 11 houses a 5MP camera. The device features an 8MP snapper at the back, along with a dual array microphone. In terms of connectivity, it has a nano-SIM slot, a microSD card slot, a pair of USB-C ports, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 5. Moreover, the Chromebook x2 11 features a full-sized keyboard that has a trackpad. You can attach it to the bottom edge of the device. There’s a rear-mounted kickstand that enables you to use it at different angles of up to 170 degrees.

HP Chromebase AiO Specifications

The all-in-one computer has a rotating display unlike any other all-in-one Chrome OS desktop available on the market today. It has a 21.5-inch touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is backed by an Intel Pentium Gold processor. There’s another model that packs a 10th Gen Core i3 chip.

The base Pentium Gold model has 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of eMMC storage. The upgraded model will come with 16GB of RAM and offers a 256GB SSD. The Chromebase AiO has a conical base made of aluminum. It accommodates dual 5-watt speakers and two USB-A, two USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a 5MP camera for video calling. You can disable the camera and microphones with the built-in shutter. There’s a wireless keyboard and mouse in the box.

Pricing And Availability

The HP Chromebook x2 11 (stylus included) has a starting price of $599. The LTE variant comes in 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, and 8GB RAM+128GB ROM. The Wi-Fi-only model, on the other hand, will ship with 8GB of RAM and offer 64GB of internal storage capacity. Moreover, you can choose between eye-catching color options such as Shade Gray and Night Teal.
