Realme Book is slated to launch later this month, but details about the upcoming laptop continue to surface on the web. The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer is set to launch the GT 5G and the GT Master Edition in India. Aside from that, the company could take the wraps off its first-ever laptop on the same date.
It can be recalled that Realme has confirmed that it will be launching the Realme Book in China on August 18. However, it is still unclear whether the Realme laptop launch date in India will coincide with the GT series’ unveiling. Nevertheless, Realme has also revealed some key details of its first laptop.
Realme Book Launch Date
Realme is set to bring its first laptop dubbed the Realme Book into the Chinese market on August 18. Moreover, the Realme Book will be hitting the store shelves in India soon. It is speculated that the company will unveil the new laptop during the Realme GT series launch event in India. The company will announce the new flagship smartphones in the country on August 18.

Regrettably, the company has remained mum on the Realme Book’s launch date in India. However, multiple reports suggest that the device will arrive in the Indian market this month. In an interview with MoneyControl earlier this month, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that the company will launch the Realme Book laptop. Furthermore, Sheth revealed that the laptop will be available in two variants. One of the aforesaid variants will ship with an i5 11th-generation Intel chip.

He went on to confirm that the laptop will be available in three eye-catching color options. The company has already given us a glimpse of the Silver and Blue color options of the Realme Book. Some reports claim that the laptop will be made available in a red color option as well. Aside from that, Sheth said that the company is on the verge of launching its robot vacuum cleaner in India. There are more lifestyle tech products from the brand coming to India later this year.
Price & Other Details Revealed So Far
The Realme Book could come with a backlit keyboard and feature a USB Type-C port. The starting price for the Realme Book base model in India could be under INR 40,000 (about $537). A myriad of key specifications and the design of the upcoming laptop were spotted on the web earlier this month. The leak suggests that the Realme Book will be housed in an aluminum body. It could have super-thin bezels. The laptop will reportedly weigh less than 1.5 kilograms.
Aside from that, the laptop could sport a 14-inch LED display with 2K resolution and an aspect ratio of 3:2. A 3C listing suggests that it will offer 65W charging support. The laptop will come running on Windows 10 out of the box. However, Windows 11 will be offered as a free upgrade when the new OS rolls out. The Microsoft Office will come pre-installed. As far as RAM and SSD variants are concerned, details are still scarce. For connectivity, the laptop will feature 1 USB Type-A port, two Type-C slots, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The power button will serve as a fingerprint scanner.
