On its Twitter page, the company posted a video showing a foldable smartphone and promised to reveal more details about it on August 11. Visually, one gets the impression that this is not a prototype of a mobile phone with a folding design, but two separate smartphones imitating a folding device. Subdued light and well-chosen dark galaxy wallpapers help to beat the desired effect.
It has been speculated that OnePlus may have created a display case in the manner of LG’s earlier implementation. But it is unlikely that the company would offer such a dubious and expensive accessory. It is also hard to believe that a folding smartphone or an additional accessory was kept in strict secrecy and that not a single leak slipped into the network. Knowing the company’s love for promotional campaigns in anticipation of the release of new products, OnePlus would try to catch up with more excitement around the announcement.

The OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone appeared in a snow-white version
OnePlus has shown a special version of the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone. The device has a white back. It is not yet clear when and at what price the new product may enter the commercial market.
The OnePlus 9 Pro device, we recall, debuted in March this year. So far, three color options have been available: Morning Mist, Stellar Black and Forest Green. Moreover, the body is shimmering in different shades. For example, the green version may appear gray or blue depending on the lighting and angle of view.
Regarding the white version, the technology of a two-layer coating is in use. Fingerprints are not left on the case, so the device always looks neat.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor is in use. It combines eight computing cores with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem with a data transfer rate of up to 7.5 Gbps.
The screen measures 6.7 inches diagonally. A high-quality panel with a resolution of 3216 × 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz is in use. A 16-megapixel camera is available in the front. The main quad-camera contains blocks of 50, 48, 8 and 2 megapixels.
Responsible for power is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh; with support for fast charging with a capacity of 65 W.
