After releasing the Power Armor 13 globally about 3 weeks back, a new flagship phone of the Armor series has been launched today – meet the Ulefone Armor 12 5G. Let’s have a closer look at this beast of a rugged phone!
The Armor 12 5G is the world’s first dual 5G rugged phone with antibacterial function. It’s powered by a Dimensity 700 octa-core chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While for connectivity, the smartphone supports dual 5G Hyperfast network.

The Ulefone Armor 12 5G then features a large 6.52-inch waterdrop screen, with a 5180mAh battery powering it up. There’s support for 18W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
As far as photography, the Armor 12 5G brings a quad-camera array comprised of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It supports face unlock & fingerprint ID, NFC, it has a quad positioning system and runs Android 11 out of the box.

Going back to the antibacterial function. While at first glance it seems nothing to brag about, in fact, the feature is actually a selling point for the Armor 12 5G. Ulefone applied an antibacterial masterbatch material to the mobile phone for the first time. In particular, we have a silver ion-based additive that can effectively reduce the growth of bacteria for an increased protection.
Another big selling point is the smartphone’s speaker system. The Ulefone Armor 12 5G packs symmetrical dual 1216 super-linear speakers with 7 magnets sound unit and 106dB sound loudness.
