POCO sees 865% growth in Q2 2021, POCO X3 Pro, M3 and C3 leading the sales

POCO X3 Pro

POCO revolutionized the smartphone market in 2018 with the Pocophone F1. The device could be found for less than $350 and offered 2018’s top-of-the-line chipset, the Snapdragon 845 SoC. After a very successful first smartphone, Xiaomi decided to put the sub-brand to sleep and tried to replace it with the Redmi K-series. However, fans of the original POCO smartphones never forgot the brand and its appealing price/specs. In the beginning of 2020, POCO returned with the POCO X2, but it wasn’t what fans of the original F1 were expecting. The true legacy was honored only in September with the debut of the POCO X3 series featuring very compelling specifications.

The POCO X3 was a huge success due to its appealing specs and price. The device had a large Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also packs a powerful camera combo, and a huge battery with fast-charging support. The device was followed by the POCO M3 which proved to be a solid smartphone for the budget segment. Earlier this year, POCO unveiled the POCO X3 Pro and we can say that this smartphone featuring a flagship-leveled Snapdragon 860 SoC was the true successor for the POCO F1.

Gizchina News of the week

POCO X3 Pro, M3 series and C3 are the best-selling smartphones in the Indian market

According to a report from IDC, POCO saw an 865% growth during the second quarter of 2021 in India. The company currently sits as the fastest-growing company in India for the second consecutive year. It had previously announced a 300% percent growth in India in Q1 2021. During the first half of the year, the Xiaomi spin-off brand launched multiple budgets and mid-range smartphones in the country. The list includes the POCO X3 Pro, POCO M3, and M3 Pro. Despite the limited portfolio, it still managed to see massive growth in India. Part of the success certainly comes due to the appealing specs and the value-for-money that these devices offer.
