A new Oppo phone with model number PEYM00 has been listed on TENAA with key specs, and it could be the Oppo K9 Pro. Aside from shedding light on the specifications of the phone, the Chinese certification site has shared some images of the phone. Furthermore, the images imply that the Oppo PEYM00 will be the latest entrant in the company’s well-received K series of smartphones.

While nothing is set in stone yet, some leakers suggest that the Oppo PEYM00 will arrive in the market as the Oppo K11. However, it is worth noting that the writing on the back of the device says “09-K Pro.” In other words, it could be the much-awaited Oppo K9 Pro. Although it bears a striking resemblance to the standard Oppo K9. The most notable difference is that the phone will come with a different chipset.

Oppo K9 Pro Appears On TENAA With Specifications

The images shared on the TENAA listing show the phone’s back and front design. The device appears to have a large rectangular camera set up on the back panel. This camera module encompasses almost the entire width of the device and about one-third of the phone’s height. Furthermore, the module is placed on the left side with three vertically stacked camera sensors.

The “09-K” branding is on the right side of the camera setup. The right side also houses a power button, while the volume rocker keys are placed on the left side. According to the TENAA listing, the phone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In addition to that, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

A MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC will be available under the hood. The device could ship with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and offer 128GB / 256GB of onboard storage capacity. Moreover, the phone features a 64MP main camera, an 8MP secondary camera, and a 2MP tertiary camera. There’s a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calling.

The device could come running on Android 11 OS with the company’s own ColorOS custom UI on top. Oppo could use a 4,400mAh battery with fast charging support to keep the entire system running for a longer period. The Oppo PEYM00 will go up for sale in three color options including Blue, Black, and Silver. According to the tipster, the K9 Pro will be rebranded Realme GT Neo.

Price & Availability

The tipster went on to speculate the company will be launching an upgraded version of the GT Neo soon. A slew of phones from Oppo and Realme has recently received TENAA certification. This includes Realme RMX3125, Realme RMX3381, PECM20 Oppo phone, and Oppo phone that will pack Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood. Details about the upcoming phone’s price are still scarce. However, NewsBytes suggests that the Oppo K9 Pro could retail for CNY 1,999 ($308), considering that it is the starting price of the K9 5G in China.
