Realme Narzo 30 5G 4GB+64GB Variant Launched, Sale Starts August 24


A new Realme Narzo 30 5G variant will ship with 4GB of RAM and offer 64GB of onboard storage capacity in India. The Indian-based Chinese smartphone maker launched the Realme Narzo 30 5G in Europe back in May this year. The European variant is quite similar to the Realme 8 5G. The most notable differences included the rear panel design and the memory configurations.

The Narzo 30 5G was launched in India with 6GB of RAM and a single 128GB of storage configuration. In a bid to enable more budget-conscious buyers to get their hands on the Narzo 30 5G, Realme has launched a 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant in the country. Indian consumers will be able to purchase the new model from the company’s official online store, Flipkart, and other retail stores from August 24. The 4GB RAM variant packs a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and sports a 90Hz LCD display.

The Narzo 30 5G 4GB RAM variant could appeal to consumers who aren’t willing to shell out a lot of money on a smartphone but do not want to compromise on the features. The 5G-enabled smartphone bears a starting price of INR 13,999 in India, which converts roughly to about $188. It comes with 64GB of built-in storage. The 6GB RAM+128GB ROM model, on the other hand, is still available for INR 15,999 (about $215). Moreover, you can choose between Racing Blue and Racing Silver color options.

Realme Narzo 30

Aside from announcing the new variant’s launch date, the company has unveiled a slew of unmissable offers that will be rolled out at the Realme Fan Festival 2021. This five-day sale will let customers take advantage of a special Flipkart discount that ranges from INR 500 (about $7) to INR 6,000 ($80) for various Realme phones. The aforesaid special discount will be offered on Realme 8 5G, Realme 7 Pro, Realme X7 5G, Realme X7 Max 5G, and a slew of other handsets.

Specifications & Features

The Narzo 30 5G sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution, and 600 nits of brightness. The display offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. There’s a small hole-punch camera cutout to house the front shooter. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC powers up the device. Moreover, it has 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB of built-in storage.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro

A robust 5,000 mAh battery is included with 30W Dart Charge support under the hood. The phone has a 48MP main camera, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 2MP macro unit at the back. The abovementioned display cutout accommodates a 16MP selfie camera. Furthermore, the phone runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. Also, it has NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G, and 4G connectivity options.
