This chip will come with an AMD RDNA architecture GPU, and the overall performance will improve by leaps and bounds. As of now, the industry is already looking forward to the arrival of this chip. According to reports out of South Korea, the GPU (codename: “Voyager”) of this SoC will use AMD RDNA2 graphics micro-architecture. This is the same technology as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and AMD Radeon RX.
Furthermore, the report also claims that the running score of the Exynos 2200 is amazing. It claims that the GPU of this chip is in GFXBench, and the average frame rate of 1080P Manhattan 3.1 is 170.7 fps. As of now, its rivals like the Snapdragon 888 and Apple A14 Bionic can only run around 120fps.
In addition, in the Aztec Ruins test project, Exynos 2200 scores are also significantly higher than A14 Bionic. It is worth mentioning that in addition to the big jump in GPU performance, Exynos 2200 will also usher in a huge upgrade in CPU. This means that the single-core catches up with the Apple A13 while the multi-core score is the same as the Apple A14. Furthermore, the AnTuTu score is about 20% higher than the Snapdragon 888 SoC. On GeekBench 5 single-core running points, the single-core score is about 1,250 and the multi-core score hit 4,000. On Antutu, the score of this chip exceeds 1 million for the first time.
