The Vivo X60 series was released several months ago, and for that reason, it is due for an upgrade now. According to recent leaks, Vivo is moving on to launch the Vivo X70 series in the next month. The lineup will be composed of three smartphones – Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro Plus. Yesterday, a set of leaked renders revealed the design of the Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro. Now, it’s time for the third and most high-end variant to have its design leaked. Today, a set of new renders is confirming the glorious design of the Vivo X70 Pro Plus with a curved display and a unique camera bump.
While yesterday’s leak was a courtesy from 91Mobiles and OnLeaks, this one features OnLeaks and Pricebaba. The leaked renders give us the first look at the super-premium variant of the Vivo X70 series. The back of the smartphone will resemble the Mi 11 Ultra for those who are here for comparisons. However, the camera bump is actually nowhere near as large. It slopes down into the body of the smartphone, but Vivo keeps the dual-tone design.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus alleged specifications
So far, there is no info on the actual specifications of these handsets. However, there are three fairly large sensors along with a laser autofocus unit and an LED flash. Pricebaba suggests that the empty spot on the back has some sort of function. However, it’s possible that it’s there just for the design. The Vivo X70 Pro Plus measures 164.8 x 75.5 x 9mm, and its thickness increases to 11.3 mm around the camera bump.
As per the report, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus is the smartphone spotted on Google Play Console with a V2145A model number. The listing suggests a Full HD+ display, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 8 GB of RAM. Note that it uses the vanilla SD888, not the Plus variant. We assume that Vivo has decided to keep the SD888+ as an exclusive characteristic for its iQOO 8 Pro. Talking about the curved display, it’s clearly an AMOLED panel given the nature of this handset. Moreover, it should pack an in-display fingerprint scanner. Another known fact is that the 3C listing has confirmed 66W fast-charging for this device. However, the battery capacity remains a mystery until now.
The X70 Pro Plus will debut Vivo’s custom Image Signal Processor and as the renders confirm, it will also boast a ZEISS lens. In terms of software, the device will run Android 11 with OriginOS in China and Funtouch OS 11 across global markets.
