Not that long ago, the Honor Magic 3 flagship was uncovered. At the event in China, the manufacturer also disclosed some details about the upcoming Honor Watch GS 3. Though there has not been much information concerning its features, today, through its Weibo channel, Honor showcased the actual look of the watch. And we have to admit it looks quite outstanding. The photos display two variants of the Classic Streamer and Racing Pioneer.
As for the Classic Streamer version, it boasts of a golden case and a curved screen. There are two physical buttons on its right side, whereas the strap (that is brown in these photos) is made of leather.
Unfortunately, this Weibo post only displays the watch’s actual look without providing any details concerning its features. But from the photos, we can see that the Honor Watch GS 3 Classic Streamer model will support an automatic step counter and heart rate monitoring. Well, that’s not something unexpected. Moreover, the dial shows it will have a calories tracking feature as well. These features are common for all modern smartwatches. So though it’s important that the forthcoming Honor smartwatches will support them as well, but that’s not anything impressive.
Gizchina News of the week
Getting back to the second model, the Racing Pioneer variant is more sportive and has a silicone or rubber strap. There are two physical buttons placed on the chassis as well. Its dial in the photos also confirms features such as a step counter, music control, compass, and stopwatch.
We still have no certain information when it will hit the market. But we think it won’t take long and the company will unleash the Honor Watch GS 3 in the near future.
What We Knew About Honor Watch GS 3
Interestingly, at the Honor event, the manufacturer said there will be the third version of the Honor Watch GS 3 as well. We are talking about the Voyager version, which comes in a silver case and features a blue leather wrist strap. As you understand, it’s another color combination of the Streamer Classic variant (golden case + brown straps).
Also, that time, we learned that the watch has some improvements over the Honor Watch GS Pro. The main difference is the octa-channel PPG sensor. The latter uses a frequency tracking algorithm to monitor heart rate during strenuous exercise. In its turn, the watch uses both software and hardware to provide more accurate heart rate tracking.
