Xiaomi is known for its budget devices, with the Redmi Note 10 series of devices being the latest of the Note series of handsets which get a lot of praise in India and around the world. Out of the three main devices on offer, the vanilla Note 10 is the most popular, but, it seems that it might be known for all of the wrong reasons.
Xiaomi India today hiked the price of the Redmi Note 10 by another Rs 500, after doing the same for four instances. After this hike, the device is now more expensive. Now, the Redmi Note 10 4GB+64GB variant retails for Rs 13,999, up from Rs 11,999, the price at launch. The 6GB variant of the Redmi Note 10 is now retailing for Rs 15,499. This is a hike of Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,500 respectively, which, for a budget handset, that too from a competitive brand like Redmi seems very odd to say the least. This is the fifth instance of a price hike for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, with the new pricing now visible on both Xiaomi India’s official site and Amazon.in Another handset that has a price hike is the Poco M3, now retailing for Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB and 6GB variants, respectively.
