Vivo X70 Series Will Come With The V1 Chip, Launch Confirmed

Vivo X70

Vivo’s upcoming Vivo X70 series of smartphones will pack the company’s own V1 chip and will hit the store shelves next month. Earlier this week, new renders of the X70 Pro+ smartphone surfaced on the web. The vanilla X70 and X70 Pro designs have already leaked in previously surfaced renders. In terms of design, the X70 Pro+ bears a striking resemblance to its siblings. However, there are a few hard-to-ignore differences.

The X70 Pro+ is the biggest phone in the upcoming X70 lineup, with 11.3 mm thickness and dimensions of 164.8 x 75.5 x 9.0 mm. In the images, shared by Price Baba, the smartphone appears to have a curved screen and super slim bezels. Furthermore, all X70 series models come with a center-aligned punch-hole camera and the fingerprint scanner has been embedded into the display. The Vivo X70 lineup is slated to hit the store shelves in China next month. Ahead of its official confirmation, more details about the series have been revealed.

Vivo X70 Series To Launch With Custom V1 Chip

The Chinese tech company’s Executive Vice President Hu Baishan took to social media recently to share more details about the Vivo X70 series. Tipster Ankit posted the screenshot of his message, along with the leaked image of the V1 chip to his Twitter account on August 27. According to the senior executive, the X70 series will use the company’s custom-developed V1 ISP (Image Signal Processor). Regrettably, Baishan did not divulge more details about the chip. However, more shreds of information about the ISP will be revealed at launch.
