OnePlus recently launched the Nord 2 mid-range handset in India and other markets in July after the success of the original OnePlus Nord, with the device receiving a post-launch update that tweaked the auto-brightness mode, added an option for Ultra Resolution and improved overall app performance.
The updates released after that fixed the camera performance of the device and tackled additional bugs. Today OnePlus is releasing a new update that will further address issues of the software UI.
OnePlus is now rolling out OxygenOS 11.3.A.10 for the OnePlus Nord 2, as spotted by XDA Developers which includes battery optimizations for games such as PUBG. Users reported excess battery drain during PUBG matches.
This update will improve the overall performance and reduce battery drain. The camera app stability is now better and the August 2021 security patch has been added. The update is 245MB in size.

Much like previous OxygenOS updates, the new update is being rolled out batch by batch, so it will take time for the update to reach. OTA packages are available, but you can wait for the official build since it will be released very soon.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G offers a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. There is a punch-hole to the top with a 32MP Sony IMX 615 selfie sensor.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 AI chip is in use in the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, with OnePlus also confirming that the device will get two years of OS updates and three years of software support at the time of launch. Storage is capped at 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Optics are decent, with the device having a triple-rear camera setup with a primary 50MP Sony IMX 766 snapper with dual-video, nightscape ultra capabilities. Other sensors include an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor.
The Nord 2 5G depends on a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W charging support. Dual-5G support and Wi-Fi 6 is also present on the device. OnePlus adds that the device has Haptics 2.0, which makes gaming much easier and more fun for the user.
