Realme Pad has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking site, confirming previously leaked specifications and divulging more details. Sahil Karoul recently claimed that the company is gearing up to launch its new tablet on September 9. The word on the street is that the device will pack a Snapdragon 7-series or the newer 8-series. On Saturday, the Indian tech Youtuber debunked this speculation, suggesting that the device will actually pack a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset.
Now, the Realme Pad has graced the Geekbench benchmarking site. The Geekbench listing revealed some new shreds of information and confirmed Karoul’s earlier report about the device packing an Helio chip. The Geekbench listing was originally spotted by Bestopedia. The publication claims that several Realme devices have recently appeared on different certification websites. Aside from that, the company is gearing up to unveil new smartphones and laptops for budget-conscious buyers.

Realme’s upcoming tablet has the model number RMP2102 at India’s BIS, Thailand’s NBTC, Europe’s EEC, and Singapore’s IMDA certification site. Now, a Realme device bearing the same model number has surfaced on Geekbench benchmarking site. As expected, the Geekbench listing includes some specifications. For instance, it shows that the Realme RMP2102 will pack MediaTek’s MT6769V/CU octa-core chip with six CPU cores and two CPU cores clocking at 1.80GHz and 2.0GHz, respectively. In other words, the Realme Pad will come with an Helio G80 chipset.

Furthermore, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Realme Pad will have 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 11 OS. The device’s operating system could have the Realme UI on top. For those unaware, the Realme UI is used for tablets. The Realme RMP2102 scored 326 and 1144 in the single-core and multi-core tests. Other notable features include a 10.4-inch full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) display, a 60Hz refresh rate, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 7,100mAh battery.
The rear shell houses an 8MP with autofocus support. The device may ship with 64GB onboard storage capacity. Connectivity options include 4G LTE and Wi-Fi. The device also features quad speakers and may support a stylus. Previously leaked renders suggest that the device will be available in gold and grey color options. On the downside, the rear-mounted LED flash is missing. A USB Type-C port is at the bottom to house the aforesaid stylus.
Realme has remained mum on the tablet’s price and availability. However, the tablet is likely to launch around September 9. Moreover, it could retail for INR 20,000 (about $272) in India.
