A new Samsung Galaxy M52 5G 8GB model has made its appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website, with previously leaked specs. The phone has been floating around the rumor mill for a long time. As expected, it has also been subject to multiple leaks. The Galaxy A52s 5G will be a revived version of the Galaxy A52 5G, and it will boast the same specs as its predecessor. However, the upcoming device will bring in major improvements in terms of performance.
The refreshed Galaxy A52 5G will replace the Snapdragon 750G with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. This processor has a modern 6 nm architecture, paired with Cortex-A78 cores. Aside from that, the device will pack an improved Adreno 642L GPU under the hood. This is similar to the Galaxy M52 5G’s performance. The specifications of the Galaxy M52 5G were leaked earlier this month, suggesting that it will house three cameras and a mammoth display.

The 6GB RAM model appeared on Geekbench in June this year. This variant has already passed through the BIS certification in India. The specifications of the aforesaid variant surfaced on the web via 91mobiles earlier this month. Now, a Galaxy M52 5G 8GB RAM variant has been spotted on Geekbench before an official unveiling. The Geekbench listing has shed light on the device’s key specs and other details including that it will run on Android 11 OS out of the box.

The 8GB RAM variant carries model number SM-M526B, and it will pack a Snapdragon 778G chipset. Aside from that, the listing shows that the phone scored 775 in the single-core and 2877 points in the multi-core tests.
Specifications & Features (Expected)
Previously surfaced reports claim that the Galaxy M52 5G will sport a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection. Samsung is likely to launch the device in 64GB and 128GB storage configurations. In the optics department, the phone could house three cameras featuring a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Upfront, it could feature a 32MP selfie camera.
The phone’s dimensions are 164x76x7mm and it weighs about 175 grams. Moreover, it is likely to offer 11 5G bands support. In terms of connectivity, the device will have a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and dual-SIM slots. As mentioned earlier, it will run on Android 11 OS that could be based on the One UI 3.1 software. Other notable features include Content Suggestions, Quick Switch, a secure folder, and more.
