Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could hit the store shelves in India next month if shreds of information from a reliable source are anything to go by. The Galaxy S21 FE 5G made its appearance on the TENAA certification website back in July, giving us a glimpse of the phone’s specifications. The smartphone later appeared on the Google Play Console and the Bluetooth SIG, hinting at its impending launch. Moreover, the phone has been subject to several leaks that suggest it will draw inspiration from the Galaxy S21 series in terms of design.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) could turn out to be a toned-down version of the Galaxy S21 smartphone. The company is likely to reduce the phone to essentials so that it can be sold for a lowered price. Aside from passing through certifications and making online appearances in the form of leaks, the Galaxy S21 FE has also been spotted in some retail stores via tipster Max Weinbach. It is still unclear which part of the world this retail store is located in, but it is an indication that the device’s launch is just around the corner.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Launch Date In India

Noted tipster Mauri QHD took to their Twitter account on August 28 to share the launch details of the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone with his followers. According to the leaker, a usually accurate source has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will launch in India on September 8. The tweet from Weinbach coincides with this piece of information, considering that both suggest that the phone will be launching soon in India.

It is worth mentioning here that Samsung is still mum on the phone’s official launch date and price in the country. However, previous reports claim that the phone could have an aggressive price. If this speculation proves to be true, it will affect the sale of other more expensive Samsung devices including the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy A72. As far as specifications are concerned, there’s no dearth of reports that have already shed light on what the Galaxy S21 FE could offer.

Specifications & Features (Rumored)

According to the Google Play Console listing, the Galaxy S21 FE will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC along with a highly competent Adreno 660 GPU. Aside from that, the listing suggests that it will come with 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, it will sport a full-HD+ display that offers 1,080×2,009 pixels resolution. It could come running on the Android 11 OS. The Google Play Console listing included an image that shows a flat display with a hole-punch cutout at the top center.

It will have the same camera module as the Galaxy S21 at the back. In other words, it will house a triple rear camera setup. The USB Type-C port, the SIM tray, and the speaker grille are at the bottom edge. The right edge houses the volume and power buttons, while the in-display fingerprint sensor occupies the top area. If previously surfaced reports are anything to go by, the Galaxy S21 FE could arrive in several color options including Blue, Grey, White, and Violet.
