Realme GT Neo2 has passed through the TENAA certification, revealing some key specs and official-looking renders. The Realme GT series was unveiled back in March featuring the Realme GT and the more affordable Realme GT Neo smartphones. Despite being affordable, the Neo variant delivered flagship-level performance. It was made available in the Indian market as the Realme X7 Max 5G. Realme has been hard at work on a Realme GT Neo successor for quite some time now.
Last month, the Vice President of Realme China confirmed that a follow-up will be unveiled soon. However, the official remained mum on other key details. This didn’t stop noted tipsters like OnLeaks and Digit.in from divulging details about the device’s specifications and sharing renders. The leaked information hint at a 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution, and a 120 Hz of refresh rate. The most notable change is in the panel size since the original Neo sported a smaller display of 6.43-inch. Furthermore, the leak suggests that the device will run on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top.
Realme GT Neo2 Gets Certified By TENAA
Realme GT Neo2 renders have been making rounds on the web for a long time. As a result, the specifications have already surfaced online. Now, the upcoming phone has grabbed TENAA certification. This hints at the device’s imminent launch. The TENAA listing shows the GT Neo2 with model number RMX3370. Furthermore, it reveals that the phone will pack a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Aside from that, the display will house the fingerprint reader. The listing does not reveal the display’s refresh rate, but an earlier leak suggests that it will have a 120Hz panel.

In the optics department, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole design. There’s a rectangular camera module at the back featuring a 64MP, an 8MP, and a 2MP camera. In addition to that, the camera island houses two LED flash modules. Furthermore, the Realme GT Neo2 will ship with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage options. Regrettably, the microSD card slot has been dumped. On top of that, the device will be available in Super Orange, Dream Blue, and Mirror Black color options.
Other Leaked Details
According to the TENAA listing, the phone will draw its juices from a 2,465 mAh battery. This will probably be the size of a single cell, but it is likely to have a typical capacity of 5,000mAh. It is still unclear how fast the battery will charge the Realme GT Neo2. According to GSM Arena, the battery will support at least 50W charging as all smartphones in the GT lineup support it. Moreover, an official-looking poster of the GT Neo2 surfaced on Twitter earlier this month. Realme will be selling the GT Neo2 as the GT Neo Gaming in select markets.
