Today, a Twitter user took to the mobile app to heap praises on the reliability of the OnePlus 5. This smartphone was released in 2017 and we can safely say that it is an almost forgotten device. According to the user, his old OnePlus 5 smartphone has gone through “hell fire” and still works perfectly. His Tweet reads
“Dear @oneplus, my old OnePlus 5, which moved from myself to my wife and now my daughter, has been submerged in murky flood waters for several minutes and been dropped on concrete and subjected to a toddler. It still works perfectly. Hella good phone!”
However, this user may have just been lucky with this device going through a lot and still working. Furthermore, it is important to note that the OnePlus 5 supports IP67 rating. This means that this device will be just fine if it is submergen in 1 meter deep water for 30 minutes.
