The upcoming phone has been floating around the rumor mill for a long time. Redmi India debunked speculations surrounding its launch date last month, confirming that the phone will launch on September 3 in the country during a new product launch conference. The company has been touting the upcoming handset as an “All Round Super Star.”
The company has brought the Redmi 10 Prime into the international markets with the Redmi 10 moniker. The device packs a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and features a 90Hz IPS LCD. Aside from that, the internal version of the Redmi 10 comes with a 5,000mAh battery. However, the company will be powering up the Redmi 10 Prime with a slightly bigger battery. Redmi will be using a robust 6000mAh battery for its new phone.

Noted tipsters have been divulging some key details about the upcoming phone. Aside from that, the company did not shy away from shedding light on some vital information. The Global VP of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain revealed details about the processor of the smartphone via a tweet. According to Jain, the upcoming phone will pack the same MediaTek Helio G88 chip as the Redmi 10 smartphone. However, he pointed out that the phone will be a significant upgrade compared to last year’s Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi 9 Power. Now, Jain has taken to social media again to share another teaser.
