Vivo X70 Pro Appears On TENAA, X70 Series Color Options Revealed

Vivo X70 Pro has shown up on the TENAA certification website, just days before the Vivo X70 series of smartphones launch in China. The upcoming series includes three smartphones including the Vivo X70, its Pro, and Pro+ variants. Last month, the Vivo X70 Pro arrived on Google Play Console with key specifications and a slew of other information. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched the X60 series in India and other markets in December 2020. Vivo will be breaking with tradition and unveiling the series’ successors on September 9 in China.

Last month, two Vivo phones with model numbers V2104 and V2105 passed through the Geekbench benchmarking site. These models could be the Vivo X70 and X7 Pro from the upcoming Vivo X70 series. Aside from that, the company will be taking the wraps off a Vivo X70t Pro model, which hints at a vanilla Vivo X70t. It is worth mentioning here that the Vivo X70 Pro+ will be the highest-end model in the lineup. Although earlier rumors hinted at a Snapdragon 888 Plus, the company has gone for a vanilla SD888.

Vivo X70 Pro Appears On TENAA

The Pro variant of the upcoming Vivo X70 lineup has made its appearance on the TENAA certification website. The TENAA listing has shed light on some of its alleged specifications. A leaker has shared an X70 Pro render online. Aside from that, a previously leaked poster has revealed the color options, specifications as well as design of the upcoming smartphones. Noted leaker Digital Chat Station shared screenshots of the X70 Pro TENAA listing on Weibo. As mentioned earlier, the listing gives us an idea about what the phone could offer in terms of specifications.

For instance, the TENAA listing suggests that the phone will come with a 6.56-inch hole-punch curved display with a Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10bit color depth. Aside from that, it hints at an impressive rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope lens that supports 5x zoom. Furthermore, the phone could come with a 4,450mAh battery that works with 44W fast charging. The device will reportedly be 7.99m thin and weigh in at just 185 grams.

Other Leaked Details

An equally popular tipster Bald Panda posted a poster to their Weibo account with some vital information about the X70 series of smartphones. According to the poster, the Vivo X70 Pro+ will adopt a design that coincides with previous leaks. Furthermore, it will go up for sale in Orange, Blue, and Black color options. Under the hood, the handset will pack a Snapdragon 888+ SoC. It will also support 50W fast charging. The phone will ship with a 2K display and is rated IP68 for protection against accidental splashes.

The X70 Pro could come with a display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro are likely to hit the store shelves in Green, White, and Black color options. All three smartphones will have a hole-punch cutout in the center. Vivo will be divulging more details on September 9 when the company takes the wraps off the much-awaited X70 series.
