Huawei MateBook 13s/14s And MatePad Pro’s New Version Launched


At today’s event, the first product that came our way from Huawei was the Huawei MateBook 13s/14s notebook.

This series has a sharp thin metal body. The 13s variant weighs 1.32 kg, while the 14s weighs 1.43 kg. They have a 90% high screen ratio and a laser welding fixed pole camera under the narrow frame, which supports face unlock.

Also, the display has a 2520×1680 (3:2) resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, a hardware-level low blue light, and a 100% sRGB color gamut.

Inside, the laptops host up to the 11th generation Core i7 processor. Among them, the 14-inch can output 45 watts in high-performance mode, and comes with an upgraded shark fin cooling system. The air intake increased by 25%. Its 60Whr battery is capable of providing 13 hours of battery life. But you should also know that 15 minutes of charging will provide users with 3 hours of work.

The Huawei MateBook 13s/14s adopts HUAWEI SOUND. The latter brings a wider and fuller immersive stereo. It comes with high and low frequency crossover four speakers.

It is worth mentioning that the 13s/14s is pre-installed to support Huawei’s mobile application engine. Thus, you can use any mobile app on your laptop.

The MateBook 13s/14s i5/16GB/512GB costs 6999 yuan ($1085), i7/16GB/512GB is 7999 yuan ($1240), while the 14s i7/16GB/1TB is 8999 yuan ($1395).

Huawei MatePad Pro New Version

Today, the Chines tech giant also released the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6-inch Summer Populus color variant with a 12GB+512GB large storage.

According to the official introduction, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6-inch supports the second-generation M-Pencil stylus. Plus, it supports parallel vision, which is a system-level innovative solution developed by Huawei to enhance the horizontal display experience of tripartite applications.

From the experience point of view, it provides an efficient viewing and use experience of dual-window display of an application in landscape mode.

In terms of configuration, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6-inch features a Kirin 9000 series processor. The screen supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut and it uses OLED material. Moreover, the tablet supports PC multi-screen collaboration, and is pre-installed with the HarmonyOS system.

As for pricing, the 5G version costs 9499 yuan ($1472), while the WLAN version comes at 8199 yuan ($1271). The above versions include a stylus and a keyboard. The WLAN version is already available for pre-order but the 5G version will not have a pre-sale period. They will go on sale this month.
