Micromax In 1b Android 11 update is now rolling out in India

Micromax In 1b

Back in the last year, Micromax introduced a new “India” series of Micromax In smartphones. The devices were launched with Android 10 in tow, and since their release users have been dreaming of an update for Android 11. Well, the time has finally come, even though Android 12 is already knocking on our doors. The device was launched in December last year and is finally getting Android 11, and according to Micromax, this might not be the last major upgrade.

Today, Micromax has announced its Android 11 update is finally rolling for the Micromax In 1b users. The update is rolling out in batches in the Asian country. As per the company, it will be available for all the In 1b smartphones in just a matter of time. Interestingly, Micromax has promised two years of software updates. Of course, we don’t know yet if this actually means two major Android upgrades or two years of overall support which includes security patch updates. Anyway, as Android 11 is rolling out, the device will have one more year of updates, and there is still hope for Android 12, but don’t expect it before 2022.
