Realme started its adventure as an Oppo lineup of smartphones, and then evolved to a sub-brand. However, the company’s growth was so expressive that BBK Electronics group decided to promote it as an independent company. Nearly three years after its arrival, DIZO was introduced as a partner brand or the first brand under realme Techlife ecosystem, focused on wearables and other gadgets. That said, the company that was once a sub-brand now has its own sub-brand. Today, the company is launching two new smartwatches in the form of DIZO Watch 2 and Watch Pro. One is an original creation, while the other is based on Realme Watch 2 Pro.
Both wearables are coming to India through Flipkart. They will be available on September 22. The company is offering an early bird deal with lower prices for the first batch of sales. Soon after the launch of smartwatches, customers in the country will also be able to find them through select retailers.
DIZO Watch 2
The DIZO Watch 2 is arriving with a 1.69-inch display, which turns out to be the biggest display in the sub INR 3,000 price range in India. The wearable will cost INR 2,000 in the launch period but will rise to INR 3,000 after the early bird promo.
The display is quite bright with 600 nits of brightness. Therefore, you should have any issues while checking the watch under direct sunlight. Moreover, the device has a beautiful finish thanks to 2.5D curved glass. The DIZO Watch 2 is bigger than the Realme Watch 2, which certainly can make it more appealing for those who want to see more content on the display.
Gizchina News of the week
The body of the wearable is made out of a zinc alloy. It is available in Classic Black, Silver Grey, Ivory White, and Golden Pink. The wrist strap can be swapped out with the other 20 mm straps to customize the look. For the sake of customization, the wearable bags over 100 watch faces.
The wearable is water-resistant up to 50m and can track 15 indoor and outdoor sports. In terms of health-life, it has 24/7 heart rate tracking and blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking. There is also a sleep monitor and a step counter, alongside a menstruation cycle tracker. The watch can remind users to stretch their legs and drink a glass of water.
The wearable has a 260 mAh battery that ensures up to 10 days of typical use.
Dizo Watch Pro
The DIZO Watch Pro has an even larger 1.75-inch display with the same 600 nits brightness. It has a bigger battery with 390 mAh, which promises up to 14 days of typical use.
The wearable packs an IP68 rating, it is dust-tight and can survive rain and shallow dips in water (up to 1.5m). Despite being the “Pro” of the duo, it lacks 5 ATM resistance. However, to make it “Pro” again, we have a GPS / GLONASS receiver for accurate tracking of certain activities. Moreover, with this, the device becomes less smartphone-dependent. Other features include the SpO2 sensor, 24/7 heart rate tracking, and more.
The Watch Pro will come at INR 4,500 through Flipkart. However, this is the early bird price. The device will cost INR 5,000, once this phase reaches its end. The wearable is available in Black and Space Blue colors.
