iPhone 13 Pro appears on GeekBench – A 55% increase in performance

iPhone 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 series is official and what we have now are salient features of this series hitting the web. Relative to the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max seem to get more attention. The iPhone 13 Pro comes with Apple’s latest A15 Bionic chip. This chip uses TSMC’s 5nm process, with a 50% increase in CPU and 50% in GPU. So how does it actually perform? According to the latest test on GeekBench, the iPhone 13 Pro metal score hit 14,216. This is an increase of 55% relative to the 9123 scores of the iPhone 12 Pro.

Judging from the GeekBench image, this picture shows that the GPU of the iPhone 13 Pro should run separately. More Geekbench scores of the Bionic A15 chip show a single-core score of 1734 single-core and a multi-core score of 4818. Although the iPhone 13 series all use the A15 Bionic chips, the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, and iPhone 13 Pro series are still different in terms of GPU.

On the Pro models, the Bionic A15 chip has an extra GPU core. The 5-core GPU increases the image processing performance of the phone by up to 50%. The iPhone 13 model has a 4-core GPU.

The iPhone 13 series will be pre-ordered on September 17th, and will officially go on sale on September 24th.
