OnePlus 9RT smartphone has passed through the 3C certification website, indicating that the phone could launch soon. OnePlus is set to bring a new model dubbed, the 9RT into its well-received OnePlus 9 series smartphones. Despite the lack of an official confirmation, all sorts of speculations have been made about the upcoming handset. Most of these speculations are based on leaked renders or the phone’s multiple appearances online.
The hotly-anticipated could hit the store shelves on October 15, if rumors making the rounds online prove to be true. The phone’s specifications have also been leaked via some tipsters and websites. Android Central was the first website to share the specifications of the OnePlus 9RT online last month. In August, the 9RT made its appearance on the BIS certification website carrying model number MT2111. Now, the OnePlus 9RT has passed through China’s 3C certification.
OnePlus 9RT Gets 3C Certified
The 3C certification listing of the OnePlus 9RT has a model number MT2110. The purported smartphone will come with 65W fast charging support. Furthermore, it will support 5G connectivity. The OnePlus 9RT is likely to house a radically overhauled camera setup as compared to the OnePlus 9 series smartphones. On the downside, the rest of the specifications of the 9RT is tipped to be similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 9R. If this speculation turns out to be true, the 9RT will come with a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, there will be a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for added protection.

The upcoming handset could pack an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chip under the hood. Aside from that, it could ship with 8GB of RAM and offer 256GB of onboard storage capacity. Furthermore, the 9RT could run OxygenOS 12 skin based on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box. In the photography department, the phone could house a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, along with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. A 4500mAh battery will fuel the device.
Upfront, there’s a 16MP shooter that serves as a selfie camera and comes in handy for video calling. As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone offers a USB Type-C port, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v5.1. In addition to that, it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, 5G, and even dual-SIM support. According to tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, OnePlus could unveil the OnePlus 9RT smartphone on October 15 this year.
