Oppo K9 Pro has arrived on Geekbench, revealing what the smartphone will be offering in terms of specifications. After making its appearance on the TENAA last month, the phone has passed through another certification website. Aside from divulging key specifications, the Geekbench listing hints at the phone’s imminent launch. Moreover, the aforesaid TENAA listing gave us a glimpse of the phone’s design via some official-looking images.
Moreover, the K9 Pro has been subject to a lot of leaks lately. Earlier this month, noted Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that Oppo will launch a new entrant in its K series. The purported handset is tipped to be the Oppo K9 Pro. The phone is likely to arrive in China first, but details about its availability in other regions are still scarce. Furthermore, the upcoming device could be an upgraded Oppo K9, which was launched in China earlier this year.
Oppo K9 Pro 5G Spotted On Geekbench
A new Oppo phone with model number PEYM00 has made its appearance on Geekbench. The aforesaid model number has already passed through China’s TENAA certification website. As mentioned earlier, the Oppo PEYM00 will be launched with the K9 Pro moniker in the company’s home country. If the Geekbench listing is anything to go by, the K9 Pro will pack a MediaTek MT6893Z/CZA processor with four CPU cores. These CPU cores work at 2GHz, while three other CPU cores clocked at 2.60GHz. Aside from that, there’s a 3GHz prime core ticking.

The K9 Pro 5G phone was spotted on Geekbench by SlashLeaks. The aforesaid chipset configurations imply that the K9 Pro will pack a Dimensity 1200 chipset under the hood. To recall, the original Oppo K9 comes with the Snapdragon 768G chipset. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing suggests that the phone will ship with 12GB of RAM, and will run on Android 11 OS. The device scored 819 and 2494 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

The K9 Pro is likely to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. Moreover, it will deliver a high refresh rate. The screen will house the fingerprint scanner. It will go on sale in 8GB RAM+128GB ROM and 12GB RAM+256GB ROM storage configurations. A 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support will power up the entire system. The phone will come with a 16MP selfie camera.
Aside from that, it will house a 64MP main camera, an 8MP camera, and a 2MP camera at the back. You will be able to choose between three color options including Neo Silver Sea, Obsidian Warrior, and Glacier Overture. The phone could go on sale in China starting from September 24. The starting price of the K9 Pro 5G is RMB 2,399 (about $371) for the base model. The high-end variant could set you back RMB 2,899 (about $450).
