Samsung Galaxy M52 5 G smartphone’s launch date in India has been postponed, few days after an Amazon listing confirmed that it will arrive on September 19 in the country. Now, the e-commerce giant has taken down the launch date poster. It is worth mentioning here that most smartphone manufacturers do not announce their handsets over the weekends.
The South Korean tech behemoth has confirmed to some publications that the Galaxy M52 5G will launch towards the end of this month. Following this confirmation, Amazon India updated the microsite to show the new launch date of the smartphone. The new Samsung phone will be the newest member of the well-received Galaxy M series smartphones.

Amazon shared a new poster that revealed that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will launch in India on September 28. The phone will make its debut at 12 PM (local time). Furthermore, the new poster suggests that the phone will be slim and measure just 7.4mm in terms of thickness. To recall, the phone was recently spotted on a Polish retailer website. The phone’s listing divulged key specifications and a myriad of other vital information ahead of launch.

The Galaxy M52 5G is likely to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Aside from that, the front panel houses a 32MP selfie camera. In the optics department, the phone adopts a triple camera setup. This setup accommodates a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top. A Snapdragon 778G SoC will probably power up the device, according to PriceBaba.
The Galaxy M52 5G could ship with 6GB/8GB of RAM and offer 128GB of onboard storage capacity. On top of that, the phone could pack a 5,000mah battery that offers 25W fast charging support. For connectivity, it has a microSD card slot, GPS, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 5, dual SIM, and 5G support.
The phone carried a price tag of PLN 1,749 (about $446, about INR 32,900) for the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM model on the Polish retailer site. Moreover, it could arrive in blue, white, and black color options. The Galaxy M51 retailed for INR 24,999 (about $339) after hitting the store shelves in India in August 2020.
Considering that the Galaxy M52 5G is the Galaxy M51 successor, it could sell for around INR 25,000 (about $340). There is a possibility that the new Samsung phone could retail for around the same price as its precursor.
