A Huawei executive revealed that as of now, the number of Nova smartphones sold worldwide exceeds 190 million. He also said that the Huawei Nova 9 comes with HarmonyOS out of the box. As of September 22, 2021, more than 120 million users have upgraded to HarmonyOS. At present, 400+ application and service partners, 1700+ hardware partners, and 1.3 million+ developers have participated in the construction of HarmonyOS ecology.

Earlier, the same exec said that the Huawei Nova 9 took more than a year of preparation. There are two Huawei Nova 9 smartphones – the vanilla version as well as the Pro version.
In terms of appearance, the Nova 9 series brings 4 new colors, namely the No. 9 color, the classic forest, provence and bright black. The rear shell continues the Nova 8 star ring design. But now it is more compact and the vision is more refined.
The Huawei Nova 9 Pro comes with a 6.72-inch large screen. The thin and light 3D hyperboloid glass body fits the 1 billion original color screen.
