After many leaks and rumors, Samsung has launched the Galaxy M52 5G in Poland. Interestingly, this was what we can call a quiet launch. After all, the company didn’t make much buzz to unveil the device. It also comes a few days ahead of its unveiling in India which should take place the next Tuesday, September 28. Thankfully, most of the device’s specifications are now fully confirmed through the Samsung Poland website. However, the pricing is yet to be disclosed.
Samsung Galaxy M52 5G specifications
The new handset flaunts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a Full HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout with a 32 MP selfie camera. The panel offers a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth transitions and scrolling. Despite the display being AMOLED, Samsung didn’t pair the smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The biometric sensor sits at the side and doubles as a power button.
Gizchina News of the week
Moving around to the back, the device flaunts a triple-camera setup. It comprises a 64 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 5 MP macro camera. Under the hood, we have the excellent Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. This chipset is the same inside of the Galaxy A52s 5G and is also boasting a plethora of premium mid-range smartphones. It comes with ARM Cortex-A78 cores and an excellent Adreno 642L GPU. Furthermore, the device is paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. As usual in the Galaxy M-series, you can expand the storage via the use of a microSD card.
Other specifications include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Moreover, the device draws its powers from a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports fast charging up to 25 W, however, you won’t get this power adapter in the retail package. Probably just a standard adapter with 15 W output. The software front is covered by Samsung’s One UI 3.1 that runs on top of Android 11.
Pricing and availability
Unfortunately, the company is yet to disclose the pricing for this handset. It was released only in Poland for now, but we can assume that the rest of Europe will also get it throughout the next few days. The Indian market will be getting it on September 28. The device retails in simple Black and White colorways.
The handset has a rumored price floating around €380 / $450 / INR 30,000. We’ll have to wait and see.
