Xiaomi Civi To Sport Top-Level Display

Though the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro is a great headset, the Xiaomi Civi will be in the spotlight. Today, we learned that it would have a flagship-level display with a COP packaging technology. The screen is directly bent, and the display chip is “hidden” in the bending area of the screen to achieve a “borderless” visual effect. Its bending radius has been shortened by 9% as a whole, and the line spacing has been shortened by 15% through the optimization of the line under the screen. The UV glue on the bottom has been accurately thinned and shortened by 20%.

After these technological upgrades, the bottom edge of the Xiaomi Civi’s screen has become 2.55mm. This is the smallest chin ever made by a Xiaomi Mobile or even a phone of the same grade, comparable to the iPhone 12 mini.  By the way, that’s an expensive technology.

The Xiaomi Civi also uses a flagship hyperboloid screen. It not only supports a 120Hz high refresh, but also comes with a real 10bit panel. The latter can display 1 billion colors. In addition, it will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, a 32MP camera, dual soft lights, and support AF autofocus.
