Fitbit announced its Charge 5 health tracker a month ago, and it is now shipping to customers. The Fitbit Charge 5 is now available to customers and, it is bringing with it an upgrade to Fitbit Premium, with new content from Calm.
The health tracker announced in August is an upgrade to the Charge lineup, with the latest model bundling in a colour display, AoD or an always-on-display, support for ECG and more, which is a huge step up from the Fitbit Charge 4.
The Charge 5 is available for just $179, and, as mentioned earlier, at the time of the announcement, the shipping date of the product was not revealed. Today, Fitbit has confirmed that the product is finally making its way to customers.

Interested buyers can get the Fitbit Charge 5 from Fitbit.com, Best Buy and Amazon. For those curious about the Google Store, the fitness band is Coming Soon to the platform.
For those unaware, much like previous launches, the Charge 5 packs in a half-year subscription of Fitbit Premium for free. The second bit of news is in relation to this, as, alongside this launch date, Fitbit has announced an expansion to its subscription service to add content from Calm.

Fitbit mentions that this new content will help users to sleep, meditate and relax more easily. Calm, for those unaware, it is a popular app that offers such services and, starting today, 30 different curated Calm content will be on offer for Fitbit Premium subscribers via the Fitbit application.
