Over the past few years, there has been a massive development of foldable smartphones. Most of the initial obstacles facing this luxury smartphone have been defeated. However, there is still a lot of work to do to get it to perfection. Top manufacturers like Samsung, Huawei, and Motorola have continued to make efforts in the foldable smartphone market. Presently, there are a variety of foldable smartphones in the market.
According to popular Weibo leakster, @DCS, Huawei is currently working on a new flagship foldable smartphone. Furthermore, his report claims that this device is oriented towards female folks. This device uses a “vertical fold up and down” inward folding scheme, more like a flip phone. However, the leakster is not sure as to when this device will officially arrive on the market.
According to previous reports, the Chinese manufacturer will release the Huawei Mate V later this year. The Mate V has a vertical inward folding scheme and it is also up and down folding. The engineering model of the Mate V shows that it uses the Kirin 9000 SoC. It appears that the device discussed by @DCS is the same as the Mate V.
