Poco C31 key specifications have surfaced on the web ahead of the smartphone’s imminent launch in India, which is set to take this month. The hotly-anticipated C31 is set to hit the store shelves in the country on September 30. Even before its official unveiling, the company has divulged some vital information about the upcoming handset. Last week, Poco teased the C31 for the first time by sharing an image on social media with “C U Soon” mentioned on it.
Aside from that, the phone has been subject to several speculations lately as far as its pricing and availability are concerned. Furthermore, the aforesaid teaser poster gave us a glimpse of the outward appearance of the budget smartphone. Taking to its Twitter handle earlier this month, Poco India shared a short clip, featuring the Poco C31. The clip revealed the phone’s front panel.

A myriad of new details about the Poco C31 smartphone has been revealed on the company’s official website. The phone will pack a powerful MediaTek Helio G35 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. To recall, the Poco C3 was launched in October 2020, with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and up to 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Poco C31 will support the face unlock feature and have a fingerprint sensor for additional protection.

Aside from that, the landing page states that the C31 will last 25 percent longer as compared to the existing market standards. Also, the company claims that the phone will remain “as good as new” even after using it daily for 2.5 years. The phone’s display houses a waterdrop-style notch with a thicker bottom bezel and slim side bezels. It will be available in blue color options. Regrettably, the landing page does not shed light on the phone’s camera configuration, display, or even on its pricing.
Other Details Are Still A Mystery
However, since it will be an upgraded version of the Poco C3, it is likely to sport a 6.53-inch LCD with HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) resolution, and a waterdrop-style notch. It is likely to house a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor at the back. Upfront, it is likely to feature a 5MP selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support fuels the handset. More details will surface at the launch event.
The Poco C31 will arrive in the Indian market on September 30. Moreover, it is likely to go on sale on October 3 during the Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart. The C31 will be the latest member of Poco’s C3 series smartphones in India.
