Infinix has been doing some noise in the past months. Earlier this year, the company revealed it was working on a smartphone with 160 W fast charging. This device would also come with a periscope camera. This particular handset became a concept phone and was showcased to the media, but never got an official release. Earlier this month, the brand unveiled the Infinix Zero X phones, but they were far from what our best aspirations have been dreaming for. At least, we’ve got periscope photography. Now, however, the company seems to be moving on to release a new Infinix Note smartphone. As a result, the first reports are starting to emerge. Again, we have promising rumors.
According to reports, the new Infinix Note will not be for those in the premium segment. The device will likely follow the Infinix Note 10 smartphone from earlier this year. In other words, we may see a decent hardware package, but modest, coming for an affordable pricing point. The company, itself, is yet to disclose any information about the prone, however, the folks at XDA-Developers have a few details to share about the handset.
The source found a few images showcasing the upcoming Infinix Note smartphone. It will share some similarities with the Infinix Note 10 Pro. It packs a rectangular camera module in the top-right corner of the back panel. Moreover, there is the Infinix branding towards the bottom, and volume and power buttons on the right edge.

Infinix Note leaked details
The smartphone’s camera layout quickly resembles that of the recently launched Infinix Zero X series. It has a large sensor at the top and three smaller sensors along with an LED flash underneath. If you look closely, it’s also easy to spot a primary 64 MP snapper. The module also teases 30 x Telephoto Zoom capabilities. Since there is no hint of a periscope module, the device may rely on digital zoom to achieve this 30x view.
The front reveals a punch-hole display with large bezels, that’s on par with other mid-range smartphones. One of the images shows the phone’s screen refresh rate settings, confirming it will offer 120 Hz refresh rate support. The Auto-Switch refresh rate option probably isn’t a true variable refresh rate but should change the refresh rate between 60, 90, or 120 Hz to preserve battery depending on the app the screen is running.
The outline of the display suggests it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Hence, we can also expect the screen to be of the LCD kind. Unfortunately, the leak does not bring details for specifications. However, giving to Infinix’s long-standing partnership with MediaTek it’s easy to guess the chipset. We would bet in the Helio G90T or G95 series again (Seriously, Infinix launched a myriad of smartphones with this chip). However, the 120 Hz prevents the G90 or G95 from being inside this smartphone… but MediaTek still has the solution – The MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. So, the recently released Helio G96 that came just for a high-refresh-rate screen can be the chipset behind this new mid-range contender.
For now, we need to wait for more details and also for the confirmation of this device’s moniker. It could be called Infinix Note 11, or Infinix Note 20. Time will tell.
Of course. Infinix will only use an AMOLED screen when the price of AMOLED becomes dirt cheap (if such a day ever comes)
