The Apple iPhone 13 /Pro series have been shipped on a large scale and it is the first to come with the iOS 15 system. According to recent reports, there are numerous bugs associated with the iOS 15 system. However, not only the iOS 15 system has bugs, the iPhone 13 series has some bugs too. The latest bug on the iPhone 13 series showcases itself when it is connected to a car. When the user is playing music on the car’s central control screen, CarPlay will crash and disconnect. This failure not only occurs when using Apple’s own Apple Music app but also when users use third-party apps to play music.
It is worth noting that some users who used the previous generation iPhone 11/12 mobile phones also upgraded to the iOS 15 system, and did not encounter the same problem after connecting to CarPlay. This proves that this bug only appears on the iPhone 13 series and has nothing to do with iOS15.
Gizchina News of the week
A large number of users have reported this issue on forums and Twitter platforms. Some users said that disabling the EQ equalizer function in the music player can solve this bug. In addition, turning off the dark mode of Apple Music can also solve the problem. As of now, there is no official response from Apple regarding the CarPlay failures. It is expected that Apple will gradually resolve these issues in future iOS updates.
iOS 15 may be the most buggy update from Apple
So far, the iOS 15 is probably one of the most buggy updates released by Apple. There are a plethora of bugs in the new update and an annoying issue is the inability to unlock your iPhone using your Apple Watch when wearing the mask. In some cases, the system does not even allow you to set up this unlock method.
Some users report a non-functional viewfinder in the camera app. Some are unable to wake up their iPhone 13 smartphones upon touch, and there is some screen unresponsiveness after unlocking. For instance, it prevents the user to swipe up after a successful face recognition. Another bug involves the Mail app that crashes all of sudden.
Apple acknowledges most of the bugs. The company even addressed the Apple Watch issue in the iOS 15.1 beta 2 version. However, it requires you to be inside the beta testing program. Overall users will have to wait until the stable rollout of iOS 15.1. It shouldn’t take so long according to recent reports.
